Learning Projects for Education

Editable Resources for Schools to Use
Please click on Learning Project Overview EDUCATION and read the document prior to downloading our materials. Please also remember that over time these materials will improve and begin to bring even more innovation as schools join forces. The projects you can download here are the START of the journey we all need to go and NOT the end point. Please keep that in mind because we want to constantly refine and improve this approach.

All projects below are in Word format so that any school can adapt and refine – feel free to also remove the Robin Hood logo but please leave the #TheLearningProjects hashtag on the bottom of the sheet so that we can collate improvements.

Managing and Supporting the Workforce

Considerable work has been done on this element – we have built guidance sheets for every job in school should there be a shutdown. All guidance sheets factor in that staff might have children to look after at home and also that staff may become ill. Before downloading the guidance sheets please read the staff letter sent out which provides context and explanation – this letter is also in Word format so that you can use it if you wish.

Site Resource Inventory

For schools in a MAT or in networks we recommend that each school creates a basic inventory list of key items in the battle against Coronavirus. This will allow schools to pool resources should shortages in key areas occur. If you are not in a network or MAT we advise contacting local schools and teaming up on this.  we have included a word document for you to adapt – View Here

Back Up Plans & Risk Assessment

Back Up Plan

A back up plan has been devised and is available in Word to cater for various scenarios linked to the schools being open for Key Workers.

DSL Back Up Plan

A Back Up Plan has been created to help schools deal with the eventuality that all DSLs are in isolation and the school needs to remain open. This plan and concept has been theoretically approved by our legal support team with the Local Authority Safeguarding Board approving the actual protocol. Please read the FULL document and guidance before implementing.  The document is in Word and fully editable.

Dynamic Risk Assessment

In order to support Headteachers and SLT deal with confirmed cases of COVID-19 we have created this template for them to complete. The advice to our leaders is that they complete this for each case where numbers are low but of we move to a situation where there are increased numbers of cases it may become too complex. This tool is NOT to meant to pull Headteachers from their core purpose and distract them from the task at hand – please keep this in mind that a common sense approach is required.

Paediatric First Aid Back Up Protocol

A Back Up Plan has been created to help schools deal with the eventuality that all Paediatric First Aiders are in isolation and the school needs to remain open. This plan and concept has been approved by our legal support team and the process theoretically approved by a Local Authority. Please read the FULL document and guidance before implementing as there are a number of caveats within it. The document is in Word and fully editable.

Staff Risk Assessment

Please find a Word version of our staff risk assessment pro forma that has been built with Coronavirus specifically in mind. Within our Trust we are asking any staff member with a health condition to complete.
